Asian cuisine is the term that refers to the various kinds of cuisines of South - eastern Asia and Eastern Asia. The term is used by people in all over the world. But, the therm is most frequently used in the Western countries in order to refer to the cuisines in the different countries in the Asian continent. The most interesting thing about the term, Asian cuisine, is that it does not generally include the cuisines of the Middle Eastern Asia, Central Asia and Polynesia. Strangely, this term includes the various cuisines that are prepared by making a kind of fusion of the cuisines of South Eastern Asia and Eastern Asia.
South Asian cuisines are also included to be among the Asian cuisines. The South Asian cuisines again includes the Tamil cuisine, Sri Lankan cuisines, Afghani cuisine, Punjabi cuisine, Pakistani cuisine, Nepalese cuisine, Indian cuisine and Bangladeshi cuisine. Most interestingly, Bengali cuisines are considered to be a different genre of Asian cuisine.
The Central Asian Cuisine takes into account the Afghan cuisine, Iranian cuisine, Xinjiang cuisine, Uzbek cuisine, Turkmen cuisine, Tibetan cuisine, Tajikistan cuisine, Mongolian cuisine, Kyrgyzstan cuisine and Kazakh cuisine.
The East Asian cuisines are thought to be the most popular in all over the world. The list of the East Asian cuisine includes the Taiwanese cuisine, Korean cuisine, Japanese cuisine Hong Cong cuisine and Chinese cuisine. It is an accepted fact to all that the Chinese cuisines are liked very much by all kinds of people in all the countries in any part or any corner of the world.
The Asian cuisine, therefore, features a vast variation in type and also in taste. Some of the dishes of Asian cuisine are too spicy and hot, while some others are extremely simple, without the least amount of hotness. One interesting thing about the South Indian cuisines and the Chinese cuisines are that they are extremely rich with food value, while they sometimes appear to be very simple and light.
Most of the Asian cuisines are non- vegetarian. Fish, sea foods, goat meats, chicken, ducks are generally included among the Asian cuisine. But there are also good many large regions in different parts of Asia, where the people prefer to take vegetarian dishes. The South Indians and the Tibetans are very much fond of vegetarian meals. The regional Chinese cuisines are not, of course, considered to be referred to by the term of 'Asian cuisine'. But, it is never to be denied that the Asian cuisine includes the cuisines of so many countries and so many areas that they enjoy a wide variety.
