The origin of the Caribbean cuisine is the tradition of the people of preparing cuisines of their homelands. One reason of the seafoods being popular as Caribbean cuisine is that it had been one of the common food items of the Caribbeans itself. Rice is also very common as an item of the Caribbean cuisine. But you may find the difference of tastes of the various kinds of preparations of rice in almost each of the Caribbean islands.
